Giuseppe Beltutti arriva alla narrativa dopo una lunga esperienza professionale nel mondo della consulenza e del marketing. La scrittura, tuttavia, lo accompagna da tempo: storie, personaggi e progetti narrativi sono cresciuti negli anni, alcuni custoditi a lungo prima di trovare la loro forma definitiva.

A settantasette anni considera la scrittura non un punto d’arrivo, ma l’inizio di una nuova stagione della propria vita. Il suo refrain racconta forse meglio di ogni biografia il modo in cui affronta la vita e la scrittura:

Giuseppe Beltutti came to writing after a long professional career in consulting and marketing. Writing, however, had been with him for a long time: stories, characters and narrative projects had grown over the years, some of them kept aside for a long time before finding their definitive form.

Today, that accumulated experience takes shape in novels that differ in genre and atmosphere, from literary fiction to psychological noir, united by an attention to people, their fragilities, contradictions and constant search for meaning.

At the age of seventy-seven, he considers writing not a destination, but the beginning of a new season of his life. Perhaps his own refrain best expresses the way he approaches both life and writing:

“Great enough to be wise, and still a child enough to dream.”
